Accolade , also medically known as zafirlukast, is an oral tablet used to prevent and treat mild to moderate asthma symptoms in patients who are at least 5 years old or older.
This medicine blocks the action of substances that cause inflammation, mucous recreation, fluid retention and constriction within the lungs. The tablet is usually taken two times per day, as prescribed by your doctor.
Common side effects of Accolade include headache, dizziness, vomiting and diarrhea. Patients who take Accolade have also complained of experiencing some muscle and joint pain.
Accolade is also occasionally prescribed for other medical conditions, as suggested by your doctor.
