Baclofen

Baclofen , well-known as Intrathecal Baclofen, is a muscle relaxant used to treat muscle cramping, spasms and tightness related to certain medical conditions like multiple sclerosis , tardive dyskinesia, and other injuries to the spine.

It eases the pain of muscle spasm by producing muscle relaxant effects in the Central Nervous System. Baclofen is a pump that is directly administered into the spinal fluid of your back through surgery. The dose depends on the muscle tightness of the patients.

Common side effects of Baclofen include convulsions, dizziness, vomiting, headache, sleepiness or numbness in hands or feet.

Baclofen may be used to treat other medical conditions, as suggested by your doctor.
