Beclovent is a corticosteroid inhalation used to help control asthma symptoms.
It works by opening the breathing passages and blocking the cells in the lungs that trigger asthma attacks, so breathing becomes easy and smooth. It is recommended to use the inhalant every day at the dosage prescribed by your doctor.
Beclovent may cause some unwanted effects including flu-like symptoms, headache, cough, sore throat, dry mouth, hoarseness or change of voice. Rinsing your mouth with water after using Beclovent can prevent throat discomfort. It normally takes four to six weeks for the patient to experience any noticeable improvement.
Beclovent is also used to treat other medical conditions, as suggested by your doctor.
