Beconase AQ , also medically known as Beclomethasone, is a nasal corticosteroid used to treat allergy symptoms, such as sneezing, stuffed, runny or itchy nose.
It is inhaled or sprayed into the nostril two to four times daily to unblock certain cells in the nose and make breathing smooth. Before using Beconase AQ , you should blow your nose to clear the nasal passages.
The most common side effects of this medicine are headache, sneezing, nasal dryness, burning and mild irritation of the throat. Few patients may experience blurred vision, eye pain, bad smell, skin rash, cough, sore throat, upset stomach or light headache.
Beconase AQ is also used to prevent relapsing nasal polyps after surgery, as well as to treat other medical conditions as prescribed by your doctor.
