Biaxin
Biaxin , also known as Clarithromycin, is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, infections of the lungs, skin, throat, ears and sinuses. It is also used to control disseminated Mycobacterium Avium Complex (MAC) infection in patients who carry Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).

Biaxin is available as a tablet, a long acting tablet or as a liquid suspension taken orally. The doses are various as prescribed by your doctor.
The most common side effects of Biaxin include bad taste in mouth, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, indigestion or headache.
Biaxin may sometimes used to treat other conditions, as determined by your doctor.
