Bumex

Bumex , also known as Bumetanide, is a water pill that is used to help control high blood pressure, congestive heart and liver diseases. It works by encouraging the kidneys to produce more urine to rid the body of excess water and salt.

Bumex comes as an oral tablet taken only once every day, preferably in the morning.

Common side effects of this medicine include dizziness, light headache or fainting, when standing up suddenly from a prone or sitting position. Other side effects contain weakness, thirst, muscle cramps, upset stomach, diarrhea or vomiting.

Bumex is sometimes used to treat other medical conditions, as suggested by your doctor.
