Celebrex

Celebrex, medically known as celecoxib, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine, or NSAID, used to relieve pain associated with some types of arthritis, including swelling, inflammation, stiffness, or joint pain. This medicine will not cure arthritis, but can relieve symptoms associated with arthritis.

Celebrex comes as a capsule taken by mouth. The dosage will be different depending on your symptoms and your doctors suggestions.

The most common side effects of Celebrex include sore throat, skin rash, cough, sneezing, and swelling of hands, feet, or lower legs. Some patients may also experience dry mouth, diarrhea, blurred vision, fatigue, irregular heartbeat or loss of appetite.

Celebrex may be used together with other medicine to reduce growths in the bowel, and possibly other conditions, as prescribed by your doctor.
