Cenestin , also called conjugated estrogens, is a female hormone used to balance the bodys hormone production in women who suffer from fluctuating hormone levels. It is usually prescribed for menopausal or postmenopausal women to treat the uncomfortable symptoms associated with menopause , as well as to treat breast cancer and prostate cancer in men.
Cenestin comes as an oral tablet to be taken with or without food once a day.
The side effects of taking Cenestin may include diarrhea, acne, upset stomach, bloating, breast tenderness, swelling of the hands, feet or lower legs, changes of appetite or weight, and increased blood pressure.
Cenestin may also be used to treat other medical symptoms, as suggested by your doctor.
