Cipro
Cipro , known as ciprofloxacin as its generic name, is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat infections caused by bacteria including sinus, pneumonia , urinary tract infections, bone and skin infections. It kills the bacteria and stops their growth. This medicine wont work for flu, colds or other viral infections.
Cipro comes as an oral tablet and a liquid suspension. The dosage will be different as prescribed by your doctor.
The most commonly reported side effects of this drug are headache, dizziness, diarrhea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, irregular heartbeat and changes of vision.
Cipro may also be used to treat and prevent anthrax and other conditions, as determined by your doctor.
