Cleocin

Cleocin , also known as clindamycin, is a lincomycin antibiotic used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria.

It works by killing the bacteria and prevents the growth of them. This medicine wont work for flu, colds or other viral infections.

Cleocin comes as an oral capsule and a liquid solution. The capsule should be taken with a full glass of water with or without food. The number of doses you take every day will be prescribed by your doctor.

Common side effects of Cleocin are diarrhea, nausea, abdominal or stomach pain and cramps, vomiting and abdominal tenderness.

Cleocin may also be used in the treatment of other medical conditions, as suggested by your doctor.

i have used it for a tooth infection. side effects for me were like heart burn.

would this drug commin to use wiht a premuture baby having a little swelling n belly caused by air in bale.

I was given Cleocin 75mg for a abscess in my mouth after going to the emergency room. Should I be concern that I was not given pencillin or another type of medicine. I just started takeing it last night and my face seems to have swollen more and I feel worst.
