Combivent , a combination of ipratropium bromide and albuterol sulfate, is a bronchodilator used to control and prevent the symptoms of certain lung problems and breathing conditions including asthma , emphysema , chronic bronchitis , wheezing and difficulty breathing.
Combivent comes as an inhalation aerosol or an inhalation solution to be taken orally. It is usually taken every four to six hours, or as prescribed by your doctor.
Common side effects of Combivent are headache, dizziness, cough, throat irritation, nervousness, cough, trouble sleeping and irregular heart rate.
