Demulen (28)

Demulen (28) , known as ethynodiol diacetate and ethinyl estradiol, is combined with estrogen and progestin to create an oral contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy.

It works by disturbing the development of a womans egg every month, so that the egg fails to accept a sperm which prevents fertilization.

Demulen (28) is taken only once a day at the same time, as prescribed by your doctor.

Common side effects of this medicine include decreased or prolonged bleeding at menses, light headache, acne, dizziness and nausea.

Demulen (28) is sometimes used to treat menopausal symptoms and other conditions, as suggested by your doctor.
