Dyazide

Dyazide , commonly known as water pill, is the combination of triamterene and hydrochlorothiazide. It is used in the treatment for high blood pressure and swelling caused by excess body water.

Dyazide works by affecting the kidneys to produce more urine, so the extra water and salt can be get ride of the body.

This medicine comes as an oral tablet and a capsule taken once every morning with meal.

Some side effects that Dyazide have include light headache, dizziness, upset stomach, stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting, gas, nausea and loss of appetite.

Dyazide may be also used to treat other conditions when appropriate, as suggested by your doctor.
