Famvir may cause some side effects including headache, tiredness, vomiting, upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea, skin itchiness or rash.
Famvir is also used in the treatment for recurring infections of the muscous membranes (lips and mouth) and skin caused by the herpes virus, or other medical conditions, as suggested by your doctor.
