Taken orally in daily tablet form doses of 50 to 200-microgram for adults and 50 to 100-microgram doses for children, you may also be asked to reduce the amount of sodium (salt) in your diet while on this medication.
Side effects of this medicine include headache, dizziness, swelling of the hands, feet or lower legs, changes in appetite and weight gain.
Fludrocortisone Acetate can be used to treat Addisons disease and other medical conditions, as determined by your doctor.
