Glynase , chemically known as glyburide, is a sulfonylurea-type anti-diabetic medication used in patients with non-insulin dependent type 2 diabetes . It stimulates the pancreas to produce insulin for your body, and helps your body respond to insulin efficiently.

Glynase comes as an oral tablet taken once or twice a day, with food. You should follow the diet program or exercise plan prescribed by your doctor, while taking this type of medicine.
