Halcion

Halcion , chemically known as triazolam, is a benzodiazepine used to treat minor sleep disorders such as temporary insomnia . It works by slowing down your nervous system to reduce brain activity and promote sleep.

Halcion comes as a tablet to be taken by mouth, with or without food, before bedtime. This medicine can be habit-forming.

Once your body develops a tolerance to Halcion , its effectiveness is reduced. You should avoid taking Halcion for a long period of time, typically no more than one to two weeks.
