Isosorbide Mononitrate CR is a vasodilator used for preventing angina (chest pain). It works by helping relax the blood vessels to let oxygen and blood flow smoothly.
It comes as an oral tablet, typically taken three to four times a day, one or two hours after a meal, as directed by your doctor. To reduce stomach upset, it is recommended that you take this medicine with a full glass of water.
