Nasacort AQ , also medically known as triamcinolone, is commonly used in the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (hay fever).
This type of medication is inhaled through the nose in order to relieve stuffy noses, and the irritation and discomfort associated with hay fever and other types of allergies.
Although severe side effects are rare with this type of medication, some users may experience mild side effects which do not require medical attention. Common side effects associated with Nasacort AQ include slight burning upon application, mild irritation inside the nose, increased sneezing and throat irritation. If the side effects do not go away or appear to be getting worse, contact your doctor for assistance.
Nasacort AQ may also be prescribed by doctors to prevent nasal polyps from growing back after being removed from surgery and other uses, as suggested by your doctor.
