Necon is a combination of estrogen and progestin which is used in the prevention of pregnancy. Necon prevents ovulation and thickens the uterine lining to prevent conception should ovulation occur.
Necon is taken in the form of a pill which needs to be taken at approximately the same time everyday for the highest level of effectiveness.
Common side effects users of Necon may experience include nausea, bleeding between menstrual periods, vomiting, weight gain and breast tenderness. If you miss a menstrual period, contact your doctor immediately.
Necon may also be used to regulate the menstrual cycle, treat menopausal symptoms, or for other purposes, as suggested by your doctor.
