Quinaretic is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and thiazide diuretic combination used in the treatment of high blood pressure. It controls high blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels in the body.
This type of medication is generally taken in the form of an oral tablet. The amount to take and the dosage frequencies will depend on the prescription outlined by your doctor.
Common side effects users may experience when taking Quinaretic include coughing, diarrhea, nausea, extreme tiredness and sensitivity to the sun or bright lights. If you experience any of the more severe side effects such as difficulty breathing, fainting or swelling of the face, contact your doctor for medical assistance.
Occasionally, Quinaretic will be prescribed for other purposes, as directed by your doctor.
