Renova is a medical treatment derived from vitamin A which is used to treat wrinkles, acne and brown spots on the face. Renova , also commonly referred to as tretinoin , is generally used as a cream, gel or topical solution.
This medicated cream works by lightening the skin, replacing older skin with newer skin and generally keeping the pores on the face clean.
Common side effects associated with Renova include a severe burning or stinging sensation on the skin, lightened skin, severe peeling of skin, severe redness of skin and unusually dry skin in the area where the cream or gel was applied.
Renova may also be used to treat other types of skin conditions, as determined by your doctor.
