Restoril

Restoril is a benzodiazepine which is used to treat sleep disorders, mainly insomnia . This type of medicine is consumed orally in tablet or capsule form and is used to slow down the nervous system to calm the brain and reduce anxiety.

These drugs are highly addictive, however when used on a regular basis (daily consumption), they lose their effectiveness.

Common side effects associated with this type of medication include clumsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness and slurred speech. If you experience an abnormal degree of anxiety, highly increased heartbeat or loss of short term memory, contact your doctor immediately.

Restoril may also be used as treatment in other conditions, as suggested by your doctor.
