Singulair

Singulair , also medically known as montelukast, is used for prevention against and long-term treatment of asthma and asthma symptoms.

This drug works by blocking substances in the body which are known to cause inflammation, fluid retention, mucous secretion and constriction in your lungs. Blocking these substances improves asthma and allergic rhinitis symptoms.

Singulair is available in a dissolvable tablet form or as a chewable tablet. It is usually taken one time per day (as directed by your doctor), usually towards the end of the day and into the evening.

Common side effects Singulair users may experience include headaches, dizziness, upset stomach, heartburn, fatigue, tooth ache, coughing and stuffy nose.

Singulair is occasionally used for other purposes, as determined by your doctor.

Singular has been the only medication to keep my Asthma under control. I walk 3 to 4 miles each morning and would not be able to walk with Singular. I have no air.
