My doctor recommended taking 1/2 pill in morning and 1/2 at night of the 50 mg. I have Fibromyalgia and ache and hurt over whole body. Have had just one day of them now and I feel like living again. But wondering about side effects as most every drug I've taken side effects are worse than the illness. Only one I see it could cause addictiveness and sure hope I'd not get additive to them. Are there any other things that they could cause?

I was prescribed Tramadol for fibramaylga. It works fantastic for depression, and immediately. Friends I know who take anti deprssants don't find the relief that I do in Tramadol. It is a narcotic, which makes md's squemish, but they have no problem in prescribing meds that can destroy your liver or heart, or make you want to commit suicide. Funny how that works.

I was given a four pack sample by my doctor to use for migraines. At the first sign of an approaching headache I took one 100 mg pill and the migraine never developed. An incredible relief.

my doctor started me on a programme of Tramadol(Zytram).Presently my dosage is 400,1/day. WITHOUT QUESTION, from someone who used to take 14-16 per day of 40mg oxycontin, I take only 3/day of the oxy plus 1/day of tramadol.I consider this drug to have given me my life back compared to what it used to be. I am currently taking 1 : 15mg tablet of Morphine Sulfate every 12 hours and 1: 10mg tablet of Cyclobenzaprine TID, for my severe back pain. I have a herniated disc (L5-S1), and I hope to get surgery soon. I am planning on getting pregnant very soon, and was told to try Tramadol for the pain and muscle spasms. What do you suggest?

Recently prescribed Tramadol, 50mg 4 times a day for chronic pain. After a week or so, ther is NO less pain than before. Pain is relieved much better with Norco(hydrocodone 10/325) even though pain returns, the temporary relief from Hydrocodone is good.
