Xopenex

Xopenex , also known as levalbuterol, is a bronchodilator used in the treatment and prevention symptoms associated with asthma , emphysema and other respiratory diseases. More specifically, this type of medication is used to treat chest tightness, shortness of breath, breathing difficulties and wheezing associated with respiratory diseases.

Xopenex is taken through the mouth by using a nebulizer and compressor or by using an inhaler. It works by opening up the bronchial tubes of the lungs in order to make breathing easier.

Common side effects users of Xopenex may experience include anxiety, muscle aches and pains, chills, cough, sore throat, fever and headache.

Occasionally, Xopenex may be prescribed for other purposes, as determined by your doctor.
